This year, as in the past, The CCAD Senior Fashion Show was a must attend-event for Columbus fashionistas.
Of course, Now It’s Dark was there, now bringing you there full coverage of the exciting sold out annual event.
Arriving early, NID caught up with the MelissaRoshan Potter (Melro) waiting for the show. Melro knows her way around the runway and offered student models coaching to improve their confidence and poise.
Melro carried a hashtag #FosterCare sign to raise awareness about the importance of FosterCare as she was in and out of over 20 FosterCare homes as a child. Her grit and determination is inspiring.
Hola! TV channel host Jennifer Wilson also greeted NID, posing for a few pictures on the red carpet as her team watched and prepared for post show TV interviews.
The CCAD Senior Fashion Show VIP pre-party …
… across the street from the runway venue offered guests the opportunity to mingle, and experience some of the unique art created by students.
Local expert photographer and author Nick Fancher posed for a picture as he mingled with guests. Nick photographed the CCAD Senior Fashion Show “look book” that containing the styles presented at the event.
The VIP area included creative student art …
… and pre-party attendees seemed to enjoy showing off their personal fashion style.
NID loved the creativity of the band entering the venue, performing as a work of art.
Mr. Fashion, Thomas McClure, was at the show, here at the “step and shoot” being photographed with Melro by Terry Gilliam. McClure is the Executive Director of Fashion Week Columbus.
Not to miss some behind the scenes action, NID went back stage to say hello to a few of our favorite models …
