Columbus Young Professionals Club Hosts ‘A Date 2 Remember’

The 2016 edition of A Date 2 Remember (D2R), a Columbus Young Professionals Club (CYP) charity fundraiser, took place at the spacious Hollywood Casino with great fanfare and attendance.

Columbus Young Professionals Treated NID Like Royalty

Now It’s Dark was escorted by Hollywood Casino staff through the VIP entrance behind the scenes up to the Casino floor onto the red carpet entrance.

Arriving early, the finishing touches were being placed on an event that is the premier social fundraising experience for CYP, the largest young professionals group in the U.S. with more than 18,000 registered members.

CYP hosts social events, offers business networking and career development programming, organizes recreational athletic leagues and tournaments, and promotes volunteer activities on a weekly basis for a constantly growing membership of local young professionals in Columbus.

D2R has raised over $250,000 for local charities, and this year is focusing on assisting Music Loves Ohio and YP360.

Taste of Columbus Cocktail Hour was conveniently arranged along the entry way into the grand ballroom, including Hors d’oeuvres from local favorites.

La Chantelaine brought delicious pastries, Double Comfort shared tasty chicken and waffles …

And speaking of music and fashion, live music played while guests circulated …

The Vegas theme included showgirls …

…with Elvis and Marilyn Monroe impersonators.
